Among the finalists of the second edition of “It’s Time to South”, an initiative born thanks to the partnership between White – the cradle of avant-garde and young fashion – and ICE – agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies – the Sicilian company Jadise is also included. From 24 to 26 September 2016, the latter will be present in the White Lounge space, in Via Tortona 27 in Milan, together with other young brands selected by a jury of experts in recent months: these are promising companies in Southern Italy that they all focus on research, quality of materials and made in Italy.
Daniele Favaloro with Massimiliano D’Angelo, creator of the brand
During White’s three days, Jadise will present her new capsule collection Jadis’Art S / S 2017, a collection within the collection. Born from an idea of the creative and stylist Massimiliano d’Angelo, its main feature consists of customizing a part of the bags with some young artists. In this capsule collection, in fact, the Jadise models do transform into a white ‘canvas’ capable of accommodating the painter’s creative act / artist, thus becoming works of art to wear. Among the artists they have collaborated on the new line created for S / S 2017, in addition to the young painter Daniele Favaloro from Palermo, with whose works this was inaugurated spring the Jadis’Art project, there are Francesco Collura, also from Palermo and the creative director Massimo Sirelli.
During White, the three artists of the project will be present at the Jadise stand Jadis’Art which for the occasion will entertain the participants with a series of live performance. Francesco Collura will be there on September 24, Massimo Sirelli on next day and Daniele Favaloro on the last day. The indicative time is 12: 00-16: 00.
